Let’s be real: we spend a lot of time (and money) on skincare routines, beauty treatments, and wellness rituals, but when did you last, really invested time in understanding your menstrual cycle?
That’s exactly why we created Know Your Flow, our ongoing campaign to help you tune into your body’s natural rhythms, not just when something feels “off,” but as an essential part of your everyday health and wellbeing.
I’ll be the first to admit, I’ve always loved a good serum or a wellness trend and I’m yet to see the day where, co-founder Stef hasn’t already tried a new wellness trend like, mouth taping, or ice rolling, before I’ve even heard about it. But truthfully, it took my own fertility journey, working for health company, and co-founding femme, before I realised just how little I really knew about my cycle - and how much better I felt when I started paying attention.

femme began with one clear mission: to bridge the frustrating, often-isolating gap between “just keep trying” and clinical fertility support. In the UK, it’s common to be told to try for two years before even being considered for a referral. We knew there had to be a better way, and femme became that alternative.
What started with fertility has now evolved into something broader and even more powerful: a women-led platform supporting everything from hormone balance to menstrual pain, preconception planning, and menopausal support.

And behind femme is Una Health, our founding parent company. A women-led medical diagnostics distributor based in Stoke-on-Trent, Una has been delivering innovative testing solutions to the NHS and private sector since 2009. Around two years ago, Una took its first step into the consumer space with the launch of the NG Precision pregnancy test, and from there, femme was born.
