August was all about big transitions - from breastfeeding stories and fertility breakthroughs to reflections on puberty, perimenopause, and the history of cycle tracking itself. This edition reminded us that change is part of every chapter in women’s health.

We celebrated World Breastfeeding Week (with a femme-style reality check), welcomed Artah and KiKi Health to the femme family, and unpacked The Perfect Storm - the hormonal clash of puberty and perimenopause. A deep dive into the origins of cycle tracking showed how far women’s health awareness has come.

The highlight story, “From Tempdrop to Tiny Toes,” shared how consistent cycle tracking helped one woman uncover a hidden fertility issue and find the answers she’d been searching for.

We also spotlighted Lilium, a long-overdue redesign of the speculum - a genuine innovation in comfort, sustainability, and dignity for women’s health.
