Can you tell us your brand name and about it's incredible background and story?
The Positive Birth Company was born out of my own transformative experience during childbirth back in 2014. My first birth was quite challenging long induction, forceps delivery in theatre prompting a strong determination to make my second birth more positive. I enrolled in a hypnobirthing course, which completely shifted my perspective toward a more natural approach to childbirth. It empowered both me and my partner with the tools needed for a positive and calm birth. My son's arrival at home, in front of our Christmas tree, without any pain relief, marked the best day of my life. That incredible experience ignited my passion to help others achieve a positive birth.
What is your mission and motivation that guides your brand?
Our mission is deeply rooted in the belief that knowledge is power and community is everything, especially when it concerns our bodies, births, and babies. My personal journey fueled the motivation to offer support from the planning stages of parenthood to the child's school days. We do this through our life-changing online courses, fostering incredible online communities, and providing access to leading experts in birth, health, and psychology.
What sets your brand apart from competitors?
We're pioneers in online fertility, antenatal, and parenting education and support. Our innovation has removed barriers to accessing crucial knowledge and created robust communities to support individuals at every step. Our products have earned multiple awards, and being recognised as parenting brand of the year for two consecutive years speaks volumes. Also, being a certified B Corp reflects our commitment to using business as a force for good.
How does your brand plan to grow and evolve in the future?
While I can't reveal all our plans just yet, we're dedicated to continued innovation and driving positive change.
