Description

Why you need it:

  • The NG PRECISION+ pregnancy test can detect even a small level of hCG in your blood.
  • Results are more than 99% accurate.
  • With NG PRECISION+ you do not need to wait for the first morning urine.

Why we love it:

  • NG PRECISION+ Pregnancy Blood Test is convenient, you can take it anywhere and at any time.
  • It is easy, quick, accurate and reliable.
  • The pregnancy hormone is detected in blood 3 days before than urine.

What is it (and why):

NG PRECISION+ is the first blood pregnancy test you can do at home with accurate results. hCG, or the pregnancy hormone, is produced by the placenta during pregnancy. hCG starts to be produced around 6 days after fertilisation and it appears in blood first, before it appears in urine (up to 3 days sooner). This is why hCG blood tests are the method of choice for
laboratory testing, and what makes NG PRECISION+ superior to traditional urine testing.

Please note: it is always recommended with any pregnancy test to wait as close as possible to the presumed date of the next period in order to obtain the most accurate result. If a pregnancy test is performed too early, the hCG hormone level may not be high enough to be detected, which would lead to a negative result irrelevant of the pregnancy status.

how to use

Directions

Always follow the instructions provided in the package with the test.

- Disinfect your finger with the wipe provided in the kit

- Remove the green tab, place the grey button on your finger and push

- Fill the blood tube completely with the blood drop

- Positive pregnancy test

It is advisable to make an appointment with your GP, gynaecologist or midwife to confirm the pregnancy by a clinical examination.

- Any doubts? Repeat the test

If you are in doubt, you should not limit yourself to a negative test result, especially if your period does not come and certain physiological signs indicate that you are pregnant. We advise you to repeat the test a few days later and then consult your doctor.

- You have taken or retaken a test and you are not pregnant

If you want to get pregnant, don’t be discouraged. Gynaecologists agree that there is no need to worry until a year has passed. You should also bear in mind that fertility varies with age.

Frequently asked

When can I take the NG Precision+ test?

The test is able to detect a very small quantity (sensitivity of 10mIU/mL) of hCG (human chorionic gonadotropin), a hormone produced by the body from the start of pregnancy. It is recommended to use the test as close as possible to the expected date of menstruation in order to obtain the best reliability of the NG PRECISION+ test. Indeed, if the test is carried out too early, it is possible that the hCG hormone level is not high enough to be detected, which would cause a negative result.

How long should I wait before reading the test result?

It is recommended to wait at least 5 minutes before reading the result (do not wait more than 10 minutes to read the result).

The colour of the lines is more or less dark

The color of the lines may vary from one test to another by being more or less dark. It does not matter.

If 2 lines appear (even faint), you are pregnant.

My test indicates that I am pregnant. What should I do?

Please consult your doctor or gynaecologist who will tell you what to do.

My test indicates that I am not pregnant. What can I do if I am not convinced?

You may have taken your test too early in relation to your expected period. Repeat the test 48 hours later. If the test is still negative 3 days after your expected period, it is recommended to consult your doctor.

Why is NG Precision + a pregnancy blood test?

The NG PRECISION+ test allows you to detect a potential pregnancy wherever you are and at any time, day or night without the constraints of a urine test.
In addition, when you are pregnant, the body produces a hormone (hCG) which is more quickly detectable in the blood than in the urine. Blood is also used by medical laboratories for pregnancy testing.

Which finger do I use?

As a general rule, it is advisable to use the middle or ring finger of the left hand if you are right-handed or the middle or ring finger of the right hand if you are left-handed. Among those fingers, choose the one that allows you to be the most comfortable during manipulations.

The blood drop must be taken from the lateral edge of the end of your finger (one of the sides).

How to obtain the drop of blood to perform the test?

To obtain the drop of blood needed to use the test, start by massaging your finger from its base to its end several times to facilitate the flow of blood. Disinfect the area with the wipe provided and allow to dry.

Position the grey button on the side edge of the end of your finger then firmly press your finger on the grey button of the test, until it “clicks”. Squeeze the finger behind the puncture site to form the drop of blood. If the drop of blood does not completely fill the capillary tube of the test, squeeze your finger again.

Is it painful?

A study on several women was carried out where the collection of the drop of blood was classified as painless.

The test did not work properly (invalid result).

Possible reasons:

  • You did not lay your test flat after collection.
  • You did not wait the minimum time to read the result.
  • You did not apply enough blood in the capillary tube.

In all cases, you must repeat the test.

What factors can affect the results?
  • Certain medications, treatments or conditions can affect the result, such as hCG fertility drugs administered by injection.
  • If you have recently been pregnant, the test may show a residue of hCG in blood.
  • If you are in the menopause or pre-menopause.

If you get unexpected results, talk to your doctor.

Can I reuse the NG Precision + pregnancy test?

No, the NG PRECISION+ pregnancy test is personal and for single use only.

  • Earlier detection than urine tests (up to 3 days sooner)

  • One drop of blood is enough

  • Test at any time

  • Discounted price when you buy 3 or more

Peace of mind!

Loved this test, so much easier and cleaner to use. Gave me the reassurance I needed and just feels more trustworthy than wee.

Great pregnancy test, easy to do

I was glad to find a blood pregnancy test that you can take at home because I feel it's more reliable than a urine one. Was super easy to use as you don't need to mess around with multiple bits, it's just the one device you prick your finger with, and then it does its job. It didn't hurt either. I recommend.
