Quantity: 10 pads

Why you need it:

  • Period pads offer a hassle-free and user-friendly option for menstrual protection, especially for individuals who find tampons challenging or uncomfortable due to insertion. This ease of use makes them a practical choice for those seeking straightforward menstrual care.
  • Particularly suitable for overnight use, period pads provide a secure option with a lower risk of toxic shock syndrome. This makes them a reliable choice for ensuring comfort and protection during sleep.
  • While effective for various situations, it's highlighted that if you plan to swim during your period, a tampon or menstrual cup may be more suitable. This information assists users in making informed choices based on their planned activities.

Why we love it:

  • These period pads are highly absorbent, ensuring effective protection during menstruation. The inclusion of wings provides extra security, preventing leaks and contributing to a sense of confidence and comfort during use.
  • Crafted with hypoallergenic materials, the pads prioritise gentle contact with the skin, making them suitable for individuals with skin sensitivity. The lightweight and breathable design enhances overall comfort, promoting a positive user experience.
  • Made with Oeko-Tex certified organic bamboo, a self-generating super-plant, these pads align with eco-friendly practices. Bamboo's capacity to absorb more CO2 than hardwood trees reflects a commitment to sustainability, contributing to reduced environmental impact.

What is it (and why):

  • Secured in place with an edge-to-edge natural adhesive, these pads stay in position for optimal protection. The use of a natural adhesive ensures that the pads adhere well without introducing potentially irritating or harmful substances.
  • Designed with an ultra-soft topcoat and core, the pads prioritise comfort alongside functionality. This combination of softness and effective absorption contributes to an enhanced and pleasant user experience.
  • Both the pads and their individual wraps are biodegradable, supporting environmental sustainability. The choice of Oeko-Tex certified organic bamboo and the biodegradable nature of the product align with a commitment to reducing the environmental impact of menstrual care products over time.

When I moved to the UK from the U.S. I had been looking everywhere for a product that ticked all the pad "must have" boxes, and I became a new convert after trying the Bamboo pads and liners. They aren't itchy/irritating, and are soft and absorbent. Great adhesive to them and doesn't unstick after longer wear. Night pads are longer in size and my preferred as I'm in my late 30s, so I wear them for both day and night. I had a mistake in my subscription, and Melody at G&G customer service went above and beyond to help me sort it out — enough so that I had to write this review because great customer service is rare these days. Highly recommend!

I absolutely love these. So much comfier than my usual brand. I love that they feel really soft compared to my usual brand. They coped well with a heavy flow. Pretty good value too. Very impressed.

I've been happy with the bamboo pads, it is not something I've bought specifically for myself before but decided to give them a try. I think for the price and being plastic free they are excellent value and curious now to try the bamboo day pads.
