Who Should Take OVAOmega

OVAOmega can be easily added into any journey but we would recommend taking as soon as you’re considering coming off hormonal contraceptives, at least 3 months before TTC (trying to conceive) for both men and women, during fertility treatment, as soon as you become pregnant and during all trimesters — including the fourth, postpartum and beyond.

Why OVAOmega is DHA only

Docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) is a type of omega-3 fatty acid — and the most important one for reproductive health. Unlike other omegas, DHA has to come from food sources because our bodies can’t make enough on its own. DHA is essential for a huge variety of functions — from cell growth, sperm health to brain function to eye development and egg health.

Our Omega 3 DHA is entirely fish free and comes from microalgae that is grown in a controlled environment (so no need to stress about mercury levels in your fish oil — finally!) making it also a purer and more sustainable choice.

When to Take OVAOmega

We recommend taking OVAOmega for 3 months at a minimum. The reason being it takes 3 months for an egg to mature prior to ovulation and just shy of 3 months for sperm to be fully produced.

It also takes 3 months for supplements to become fully bioavailable in your body. However, you should notice improved feelings of energy, immune and mental health within 2-4 weeks.
