Can you tell us your brand name and about it's incredible background and story?

HotTea Mama was founded by best friends Bethan & Kate in 2017, to support their wellness needs - one cup of tea at a time. Using Bethan’s career as a tea blender & her degree in Tea Science (yes, it’s a thing!), they source the finest, whole leaf, organic botanicals, to create award-winning wellness tea for any and all times of life. Kate had the idea to set up HotTea Mama as a women’s wellness tea brand, having struggled through her pregnancy and early motherhood with issues that were naturally supported by certain herbs.

  • What sets your brand apart from competitors?

    All of our teas are a careful blend of natural, whole leaf and organic ingredients. Each teabag is bio-degradeable and all of our packaging is plastic free. Many of the blends can be re-brewed at least twice fitting with our ethos of sustainability. All of our tea is blended and packed in the UK using solar energy.

  • What is your mission and motivation that guides your brand?

    From PMS to pregnancy, parenthood to perimenopause, our teas are blended to meet your needs. Each cup is a hug in a mug, specially created using tea science, to support you when you need it most.

How does your brand plan to grow and evolve in the future?

We work closely with fantastic specialist retailers and are planning to expand internationally in 2024. We have an amazing community online who also drive our growth and provide our inspiration.
