They are the highest-scoring BCorp in disposable period care in the world, with a score of 146.5, this means they rank the highest across their impact for people and planet. Their founder Fran undertook three years of intense research and development, to launch the brand in 2019, ensuring that the products were sourced and produced ethically and sustainably at every step of the supply chain. One of the key decisions was to use organic cotton and bamboo for their products, which as well as requiring less water and no pesticides to grow, have a significantly lower carbon footprint compared with conventionally grown crops. They practice responsible and energy-efficient manufacturing using renewable hydroelectric power.
