Perifit can detect pelvic floor contraction as weak as 0.35 oz / 50 g.
No, the Perifit does not vibrate.
No. The Perifit does not provide electro-stimulation. When you voluntarily contract your pelvic floor muscles, the force sensors in the Perifit allow you to visualise your contractions within the app.
Some people with a very weak pelvic floor (due to injury or an underlying condition) may benefit from electrostimulation before being able to perform voluntary pelvic floor muscle contractions. If you think this may apply to you, you should reach out to a pelvic healthcare practitioner.
If you are a new user, Perifit recommend that you train either reclined or lying down in a comfortable position with your knees bent and legs slightly apart.
Frequency and duration of use depends on each individual. A recommendation is to start by playing 3 to 5 ten-minute sessions per week. Do not exceed this time.
Perifit is very easy to look after. Perifit have chosen a very hygienic and durable material so it can easily be cleaned using warm, soapy water. Always follow the cleaning instructions in the user guide.

ChrissieA fantastic improvement
The new Perifit is MUCH more comfortable than the first model as it is smaller and more atomically shaped. The biofeedback is also more sensitive. I also found the exercises felt slightly 'deeper' with this model compared to the original. Also far far easier to use when standing up. I would absolutely recommend upgrading to the new model, or buying if you don't already have a perifit
Chris ShandsPerifit is a great product, takes a bit of getting used to but it's really makes you focus on working at the kegal exercises
Alison WilliamsAll motivation you will need
I saw a physio some months back and she gave me a bunch of exercises to do. I started out doing them regularly for the first 2-3 weeks, then quickly lost the willpower/motivation to do them. But with the perift, I am doing 4 x per week very consistently. The games allow you to focus without the mental fatigue of repetition of a very unusual exercise.
It has made all the difference. I am not sure that the abdominal sensor is that great at picking up poor quality contractions, but I think the perineal sensor is apppropriately detecting my workouts and seems pretty consistent. The games are basic but effective at keeping my interest and I have definitely noticed an improvement. I would highly recommend it to anyone who struggles to keep on the kegel wagon!
Mhairi ForbesLove it

Lesley ShillitoMy little helper
