Description

Why nutrition matters while breastfeeding

Breastfeeding places real, ongoing demands on your body, often alongside broken sleep and the natural process of recovering after pregnancy. While a balanced diet is always the goal, many mums find it hard to consistently meet those higher nutrient needs while caring for a newborn. Proceive Breastfeeding is designed to act as a nutritional safety net, helping support both your own recovery and your postnatal wellbeing during this stage.

Built around what matters most right now

Vitamin B1 supports normal energy production, while Iron, Magnesium and Vitamin B2 contribute to reducing tiredness and fatigue, exactly what's needed when sleep is in short supply. Vitamin C, Vitamin D and Zinc help support normal immune function, and Calcium and Vitamin D work together to support healthy bones. Selenium and Biotin also contribute to the maintenance of normal hair, helpful during a time when many mums notice postpartum shedding.

Who it's for

Proceive Breastfeeding is designed for mothers who are currently breastfeeding, and can also be taken after birth even if you're not breastfeeding, to support recovery and everyday postnatal nutrition. It's recommended for up to 12 months post-partum, or for the full duration of your breastfeeding journey, whichever comes first. Explore the wider Proceive range or Proceive Pregnancy Omega 3.

What can I expect from taking Proceive Breastfeeding?

Breastfeeding places extra demands on the body, as nutrients support both your own wellbeing and your baby's needs. This formula provides carefully selected vitamins and minerals to give you nutritional reassurance during this demanding stage, helping support recovery after pregnancy.

When should I take it?

Take two capsules daily with food, ideally in the morning.

What else should I take alongside it?

Nothing else is generally needed, as it's a comprehensive formula. The one exception is Omega 3, recommended if you don't eat oily fish at least twice a week.

I'm experiencing postpartum hair shedding, can this help?

Hair shedding after pregnancy is common and often linked to hormonal changes and increased nutritional demands. Proceive Breastfeeding contains Selenium, which contributes to the maintenance of normal hair, alongside Biotin, Zinc and B vitamins.
